Silverfields Primary’s Aftercare Centre offers a nurturing space for learners needing supervision after school hours. We’re dedicated to providing exceptional care and a range of activities that support both academic and personal growth.
- Nutrition & Fun: Each day, children enjoy a nutritious meal followed by a healthy snack. Our aftercare isn't just about supervision; it's about providing a stimulating environment where children can eat, play, and learn. - Homework Support: From 14:30 to 16:30, supervised study sessions help our learners stay on top of their schoolwork, with additional study time available until 18:00. - Extracurricular Activities: We encourage learners to engage in various sports and cultural activities, ensuring a well-rounded development
- Hours: Open during school terms, Monday to Friday from 13:30 to 18:00. We close on public holidays and over the December holiday period. - Late Pick-up: A R50 fine applies for late pickups post-18:00. Repeated delays may require us to reconsider your child’s placement in the program. - Registration: A detailed contract is signed upon registration, outlining all terms and expectations. - Consistency and Commitment: Attendance is mandatory unless prior notification is given by 9:00 AM for absences.
- Transparent Fees: All fees are determined by the governing body and are payable in advance to ensure uninterrupted service and care. Day-visitors are also welcome at a set fee. - Accountability: Always request a receipt for cash payments, and direct any fee inquiries to lilian@silverfields.co.za.
- Safety First: We take every precaution to prevent accidents or illness, and our trained staff supervises all activities. However, parents are required to indemnify the school against any incidents. - Behavioural Expectations: We adhere to strict codes of conduct to maintain a respectful and safe environment. All school rules apply, ensuring consistency and discipline.
